Candied bacon. If the sound of those words make your mouth water, this recipe is for you!

I hate frying bacon, so the oven is a good alternative with minimum clean up.

Brown Sugar. Cinnamon. Bacon. The three best friends you could ever have.

1 pound (1 slab) bacon
1/8 cup brown sugar (approx)
1 Tablespoon cinnamon (approx)

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.

Line the bottom of sheet pan with foil. On top of that, place a wire rack.

Cut the slab of bacon in half, this will give you smaller pieces.

Twist each piece of bacon and place it on the rack. The twist allows the bacon to crisp evenly without having to turn it.

Mix together the brown sugar and the cinnamon then sprinkle evenly over each piece of bacon.

Bake for 20 minutes, then serve.
