Chewbacca Medal of Yavin Cookies
Happy May the 4th, it’s Star Wars Day! Every year I make Chewbacca cookies because the character is so beloved, people always ooh and ahh when they see him. He’s lovable, huggable, and loyal, all the qualities you want from an intergalactic co-pilot. This year May the 4th is especially meaningful because Peter Mayhew—the original Chewbacca—recently passed away.
It was always controversial that Chewbacca never got a medal at the end of Star Wars: A New Hope, but it’s something that’s easily rectified with cookies. These little Chewie cookies have tiny little edible medals and they go perfectly with a large glass of Blue Milk. May the Force be with you!
