Hello Kitty Chocolate Chip Waffles
My kids love waffles so much, they were asking for them everyday for about two months. Talk about boredom in the kitchen. To change things up I like to add different flavors, different ingredients like mochi to make moffles and even try out different shapes. Something about a nice chocolate-y Hello Kittywaffles just sounded like the perfect morning breakfast.
Hello Kitty Chocolate Chip Waffles
Ingredients:
2 cups all-purpose flour
3 Tablespoons sugar
3 Tablespoons cocoa powder
3 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1-1/2 cups whole milk
2 eggs
2 Tablespoons melted butter
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
Instructions:
Preheat your waffle iron.
In a bowl whisk the flour, salt, sugar, cocoa powder and baking powder.
Stir in the milk and the eggs, then add the butter and vanilla until just combined. Fold in the mini chocolate chips.
Pour batter into the waffle iron and cook according to manufacturer’s directions.

The best recipe ever!! I have my Hello Kitty waffle maker for more than 2 years and that’s the 2nd time that I use it. Because the first time I tried another recipe and it was terrible!! I am glad that I tried again!! =D
