Bully the Little Stuffed Bull is a friend of mine. So I made him some cookies ‘n’ cream cupcakes, with chocolate sour cream frosting and…his own face!
Fondant is so fun to use. You can really get into making sugar come to life. With Bully it was just three colors, the regular fondant white, black, and then gray for the ring in his nose.
I started out with a base of the white, added the black on top for dimension. The eyes were just food coloring applied with toothpicks.
When dyeing fondant, I always use gloves and I always use GEL COLORING. It works the best.
Also when making fondant designs, I like to sketch my ideas first, which is always a big help.
Once the Bullys were done I kept them in an airtight container – until my cupcakes were made, and then frosted. Once I put the frosting on, I placed one Bully on top of each cupcake. Easy peasy.
I hope Bully liked them.
