I don’t know how it’s possible, but I’ve been posting recipes on this blog for three years. That’s a long time, and a lot of recipes. (If you came here from the other blog you know that one’s been around for seven years! That is a lot of blogging.)
To celebrate I’m having a giveaway! What can you win? Well you know I love sprinkles, I buy a lot of them and use them to decorate cookies, cupcakes, donuts, ice cream – you name it. People always ask me where I get such a vast array and I am lucky to have a lot of local sources, but now they can be all yours!
TEN different ones – stars, confetti, dinos, mini hearts (I think those are my favorite), and more – just for you~!
Just leave a comment on this post from now until Sunday. If you’ve made any of the almost 400 recipes I’ve posted here, (Seriously? Man, I cook a lot.) let me know which recipe was your favorite, I really want to know what works for you! Or just let me know your favorite thing to cook. If you don’t cook… well then why do you come here? That’s weird.
Even if you just started reading or have been here for three years, thanks so much – I love cooking for/with my kids, I love creating new and fun recipes. I always appreciate all your comments (Well, the nice ones. Ha!) and thanks for reading, it truly means a lot to me.

I love your website! I check it faithfully, one, two, or even three times a day, hoping to see a new recipe!
I’m new here and haven’t made any of your recipes yet, but I will! A friend recommended you to me. I like to bake more than cook, I think. But I really do enjoy making my own Chinese pasta and vegetables! So yummy!
I just found your blog this morning and I am now a huge fan! I love your easter recipes and am looking forward to trying out your Lemon Scones!
I forgot how I came across your blog, but I think I came across it while I was searching for recipes using Mochiko. I followed your recipe for Chocolate Mochi Brownies this past Tuesday night and it was DA BOMB!!! I’m trying out the Kimchi pizza recipe tonight. Love your recipes! I’m a huge fan!!!
Hi, I am a New Follower of your Blog, and I am so Glad I found you, I will definately be trying out some of your shared recipes… They look so yummy… Happy Easter!!
I am ALL about the bombes! The watermelon one is the best. Thanks for keeping us entertained the past 7 years.
I love all your recipes and shockingly I have not had mochi. Which will have to change. Last year, I made your ice cream bombe to rave reviews. I love your Easter cupcakes, your talents are endless and I am thankful that you share them with others so that we can look cool.
I just found your blog today from another blog – and it just might be my new favorite! I can’t wait to try the bunny pancakes on Sunday morning.
My favorite recipe of yours were the Caramel Apple Cupcakes. I made them as mini’s for Halloween, and my coworkers were actually fighting over them! I love your site, not just for the delicious recipes, but your creative ideas and humor too. Thanks Jenn!
I always make the sweet spiced pork. At least once a month it is time for some yummy “poke” tenderloin.
Hi Jenn! Your blog is so awesome for many reasons; it’s the first food blog I’ve ever read,it’s my only go-to website when I’m bored with my routine, and it warms my heart just looking at those sweet little plates you make up for your men. You’ve made me and my wonderful family very happy with your Mochiko Chicken, Broccoli Salad, Hawaiian Garlic Fried Chicken (my fave),Slow Pork Chops, Crock Pot Shoyu Chicken, and Bacon Wrapped Smokies.
I cook a lot for my elderly parents and can’t wait to make your Chickie Eggs for them, they’re just too cute.
Thanks for all you share. Take care.
Hi Jenn! I’ve made so many of your recipes, the ones that are favorites in our household are:
-Somen Salad (My husband LOVES this)
-Broken Glass Jello (we call it Cathedral Windows)
-Brown Sugar Meatballs (love this for a lazy day dinner)
I plan on trying out more recipes but I’d rather eat than cook
I’ve been following your rants blog for I think 5-6 years… even before the cooking. (Your EverQuest post is one of my favorites.)
Love your blog! Was just telling a friend about your goldfish mac & cheese today – so yummy!

I love all your recipes and posts. I’ve made the ovaltine brownies and they are the bomb as well as the slow chops and broken glass jello. I can’t name them all, but whichever I’ve made I have no complaints they are all so ono!
I love your blog- I’ve been reading it for about a year, and I am one of those weird people who didn’t like baking but read because I LOVE food. And reading about food. Recently, though, your blog has inspired me to bake! I made your chocolate ganache cupcakes (OMG- those things were amazing!!!) and your chocolate peanutbutter brownies and your praline cupcakes. My family, friends and co-workers are very appreciative of you and your blog!
I love all your kid-friendly dishes & how you get your boys involved in the kitchen. My son is only 8 months old, but I’m already looking forward to trying out some of your recipes for him. My favorite are the mama & baby chick eggs. Simple & cute!

Everything you make looks FANTASTIC. One of the things I have tried that rocked my world were the banana cupcakes with Cinnamon frosting! LOVE THEM! Could use a couple right now…
Congrats to 3 years! You are my go to website for local recipes/potluck foods. We love your Kalbi and Mochiko Chicken. Thank you for sharing.
I check your site every day- usually in the am from work. I loved your “Lemon Week” and the lemon sugar was fabulous! Not only did i use it in your recipes, but i also added it to grapefruits in the morning, crepes and fruit salad. THank you for the great ideas- your kids are VERY lucky!

I stumbled across your website when I was looking for a pumpkin mochi recipe for Thanksgiving. I’ve been hooked ever since and I check out your blogs nearly everyday. I tried several recipes and loved each one. You must have some Hawaii ties as I see a lot of local things. thank you!

I love to bake dessert type food the most. I also like making roast with carrots and potatoes in my crock pot. So yummy and SO easy!
I think one of my favorites are the pumpkin cupcakes w/ the cinnamon frosting. My son LOVES coffee mochi — I use espresso instead of brewed for stronger coffee flavor
Oh the honey chicken the kids like too – sort of like teriyaki to them!
Congrats on 3 yrs! Those bunny cupcakes were so cute!

I’ve made your Burger Bites and Brown Sugar Meatballs. Yummy!
I think my favorite recipe of yours will always be the pecan praline cookies. YUM. I still wanna try the colored cookie dough too.
I love the lemon sugar because it’s easy to make and once you do you have it on hand to top a lot of things – homemade muffins, cereals, fruit, etc.
