I am embarrassed to say that green bean dish with the crunchy onions on top. By the way I read in Hungry Monkey that Safeway’s dumplings are better that Ling Lings. Has anyone tried them?

Anything with pumpkin! Pumpkin pie, pumpkin rolls, pumpkin cheesecake, and pumpkin bread! 🙂

The stuffing in the turkey and all the side dishes… Green beans, potatoes, jello, and

I LOVE Thanksgiving food!!! My hubby makes this delicious flank steak with watercress~. Droooool~~~. He also makes these delicious chimaki wraps. Yum! Is 22.5 pounds of turkey leftovers a little much? We’re feasting with family, but I detest returning home from celebrations without leftovers to show for! So I’m roasting a turkey so that we have turkey to look forward to over the holiday weekend.

  23. Jenifer says:

Thanksgiving is always held at our home and we always have the traditional items, but we also have ‘island touches’ since I grew up in Hawaii. Butter Mochi, kalua pig and macaroni salad is a big deal in our household. I also do many desserts from scratch-apple pie, apple spice cake, pumpkin cheesecake, chocolate bundt cake.

  24. katalia says:

My family always makes “Monkey Bread” on holiday mornings … the pull apart cinnamon goodness screams special day to me. My husband is vegetarian, so we always bring a nice hearty veggie lasagna to Thanksgiving (not your normal Thanksgiving dish, but it’s what he likes to eat for the big holiday). I’m a sucker for mashed potatoes, and I only really eat them at the holiday … mashed potatoes and pumpkin pie are my favorite things about Thanksgiving!
