Holiday Gift Guide!

It’s the most wonderful time of the year but it can also be the most stressful. If you are pulling your hair out wondering what to get your favorite food lover I have some great options for you, here are a few of my favorite items that will make great holiday gifts for people who love food and cooking!

Ninjabread Cookie Cutters $17.95 $8.00 (!) – Fred & Friends
I love these cookie cutters because they are so fun! You don’t have to go all out and frost them, just use a chocolate dough and add a touch of white for the mask and you have a simple cookie treat!

Rainbow Hors D’oeuvres Set $44 – Uncommon Goods
I think you know how much I love adorable plates and this one is my new favorite. I throw a lot of big parties and I love plates that present the food in a fun way! These arch-like plates can easily display appetizers or desserts and make a great hostess gift!

Marvel Cakelet Pan $19.99 – Williams Sonoma
I adore all the licensed items from Williams Sonoma and I used this Marvel Cakelet pan to make my own Chocodiles, THOR shaped of course. Now with Hostess gone it’s the perfect opportunity to make a bunch of Avengers filled cakelets. (plus the pan is 50% off, what a deal!)

Mochi: Recipes from Savory to Sweet $12.50 – amazon
I know, this is MY book but if you read this blog I know you will appreciate it! Full of mochi recipes that I created and tested, from Jell-o Mochi to Mochi Cheese Puffs!

Food Face Plate $21.95 – Fred
My kids received these as a gift and it’s still one of their faves. The Food Face Plate inspires creativity but still gets the kids to eat their dinner and try different foods. What more could you ask for?

*full disclosure: Uncommon Goods provided me with product. The opinions of these products and this blog post are my own.

I told my boyfriend I wanted your mochi cookbook for Christmas! I have Jean Watanabee Hee’s mochi book, but I am so looking forward to some more radical mochiko recipes like the root beer bundt you mentioned!
