little smokies

lil smokies

ingredients:
little smokies
bacon
brown sugar

you’ll also need:
a crock pot
toothpicks

Smokies 2Start by cutting strips of bacon into thirds or halves. (Thirds if you are cheap like me.) Then wrap one strip around the smokie and insert a toothpick to hold it in place.

Throw them all in a crock pot and crumble a whole bunch o’ brown sugar on top. Turn on the pot to high for about 2-3 hours, and you’re done! I’d post a picture of the finished product, but they were eaten so fast, I didn’t get a chance!

FIVE STARS!! What’s your rating scale?

LOVE these. Sooooooooo easy to make, and everyone loves it!! Especially kids.

Of course, not the healthiest, but it’s not like you eat them all the time. Unless you’re me. I make them all the time. And eat them all the time. And I’ve passed the recipe on to about 5 people since, who have loved them as well.

So yeah… single-handedly clogging the arteries of America. But so worth it!

I’m a cooking moron…when you say a “whole bunch” what’s that mean exactly? 1 cup, 2 cups…I need exact directions or I swear I’ll ruin it.
