Maple Sugar Oatmeal

There’s something comforting about maple, the flavor is so comforting and sweet. It makes you feel like a warm hug – a very sticky hug, of course. Maple sugar is sweeter and has more fullness than regular brown sugar and it’s why this oatmeal makes you feel at home.

ingredients:
1 cup oats
2 cups whole milk
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1 Tablespoon Maple Syrup
2 teaspoons maple sugar
1/2 cup blueberries

In a large saucepan bring the milk, vanilla and oats to a boil, then let simmer for 2-3 minutes.

Take off the heat and stir in the maple syrup. Add more milk by the teaspoonful if you want a thinner consistency.

Scoop into two bowls, sprinkle with maple sugar and blueberries. Serve.
