New Year’s Day tradition

Christmas is lovely but New Year’s Day is what I really prepare for. Lots of traditional dishes and party food, days of cooking and of course lots of mochi! Take a look back at past year’s New Year’s Day parties and food and check back next week to see what I made this year!

I love looking at your New Year’s spread. My family traditionally eats ozoni at the buttcrack of dawn after looking at the Rose Parade floats before they start their trip down the parade route. Next time we have a big New Year’s party, I am so bringing a platter of Spam musubi!
