There is something so comforting about pot roast. It reminds me of a relaxing family dinner, hearty and full of vegetables. My kids like it so much, they ask for it every week. I like it so much because there are very few ingredients and you just have to turn on the crock pot and all the work is done!

3-4 lb chuck roast
3 Tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 teaspoon oregano
1/2 teaspoon salt
freshly ground pepper
1 onion, diced
3 celery ribs, diced
2 carrots, diced
2 potatoes, cubed
1/2 cup water

Place the onions in the crock pot and place the chuck roast on top. Season with the Worcestershire Sauce, garlic, oregano, salt and pepper. Add the celery, carrots and potatoes. Then pour in the water.

Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours.
