A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood Reminds You of the Kindness of Mister Rogers

Mister Rogers was a huge part of many people’s childhoods, and his light now lives on in A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood. A timely story of kindness triumphing over cynicism, the film is based on the true story of a real-life friendship between Fred Rogers and journalist Tom Junod.

Admirably played by Tom Hanks, watching the trailer makes you feel as if the actor had embodied Mister Rogers soul. Matthew Rhys portrays the initially cynical journalist, but as we all know, Mister Rogers love and support will always prevail. There’s nothing like thoughtfulness and decency from America’s most beloved neighbor.

Look for A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood to debut in theaters November 22nd.
