~and the winner is…

Well, the vacation didn’t quite go…as planned. Four out of five days I was lying in bed sick as a dog, never even left the hotel – only to end up in the hospital. Only after an EKG, chest xray, blood work and an IV of fluids – was I finally was able to stand up again…just in time to get on a plane home. Can I get a break up in here?? Ugh.

Now I am home, back to cooking three meals a deal and trying to stay alive til Christmas. Bah humbug.

But who cares, right? Who won is all that matters and according to the random integer generator the winner is…

102…Sandra Dee!

Congrats and thanks to everyone for participating AND reading!!

Jenn – OMG – you visited some of MY fave places in the world in DC – Jami (comment #3) and I grew up in the DC area….I am a George Washington University alum (I was born in their hospital and I went to college there) and going to those museums and monuments always provided me with awesome experiences and memories…..I hope you and OG had a great time on the East Coast and that you are feeling better…..sick is NOT FUN on vacay!!

I cannot believe that I am the Bento Box winner….my Godzilla-obsessed husband and kid are going to LOVE this!!!!

Hi Jenn. I wanted to let you know that the Box O’ Bento Box goodies arrived yesterday. So unbelievably cool!!!!!

My husband, Drew, has an affection for all things Japanese. Drew’s Dad (Al) spent months at a time in Japan working when Drew was growing up…and Al would bring back all sorts of goodies for Drew. Crazy Japanese toys (like Godzillas that shot sparks) and crazy Japanese foods (like squid ships and wasabe peas)…it was the 70’s, so all that stuff was interesting.

Anyway – Drew has passed down his love of these things (and more, just ask Jami) to our son Alex. So when we were going thru the box last night, Drew just kept saying….Wow! That’s so cool! and Wow! That’s awesome! I can’t wait to play…especially with the hard-boiled egg shaper. I’m fascinated by that…

PS – thanks for the special bonus – I love the cupcake note cards! Methinks I need to shop around on your site a bit more 🙂
