Baked Donuts

Who wouldn’t want to wake up to a breakfast of mini donuts? The best thing is there’s no frying involved, just bake them in the oven and decorate as you wish. Donuts at home, it’s like a dream come true!

You can also go all out and use mini donuts as toppers for Coffee and Donut Cupcakes…or just take it easy. One donut at a time.

    yeeee haaaw!
i love the IDEA of my donut press, but i’ve tried:
1: the recipe that came with it
    2: a recipe from williamsonoma.com
3: my tried and true cake recipe
and all of them have been extra GROSS.

    i am ALL OVER THIS.

O.M.Golly — I have the original donut maker that my Grandparents bought over 30 years ago — and it’s just like yours. I usually use Jiffy cake mixes, but your recipe HAS to be much better. I can’t wait to dig that little gem out. The kids can’t decide if I’m a genius (I own a donut maker!) or if I’m just a little left of center (they’re teens after all).

yeah! I got a donut maker thing for Christmas and we’ve made them 2x… not impressed with the way they turned out- can’t wait to try your recipe though!

So do you like the donut maker? I was eyeing the one they sold at Williams Sonoma for a while, but it was $$ and then they stopped selling it. 🙁 We LOVE donuts around here, so this may be a worthwhile investment if it works well!

I have an old donut maker that my Mom had. It’s red and white and has a plunger in the middle. The plunger is depressed and the batter comes out, dropped in the hot oil and you have a perfect donut. However I lost the box that the donut maker came in and so I don’t have the vanilla donut receipe that was on the back. Do you or your followers have that receipe. It was my very favorite receipe of all times.
