Black and White Rice Krispies Treats
Just like the Kid before him, the Baby’s 2nd grade homework was to make a recipe. Baking is a fun way to spend time together and hopefully he’ll find these skills I’m teaching him now useful later in life.
Rice krispies treats were the ideal recipe to try and we changed it up by mixing the cocoa krispies with the regular rice krispies giving the treats a modern look with a unique taste. The Baby got a high marks for this project and now he makes these regularly. I love this new twist on an old favorite, you can’t beat good grades and sweet treats!
