Chocolate Cranberry Matzo
Passover and Easter are almost here which means markets are stocking up on both matzo and chocolate. The combination of crisp matzo covered in luscious chocolate is too delicious to resist, and I sprinkle on dried cranberries and sea salt for good measure.
Chocolate Cranberry Matzo
Ingredients:
8 squares matzo
8 ounces chocolate
1 cup dried cranberries, chopped
sea salt
Instructions:
Prep the matzo by placing it on baking sheets.
In a double boiler melt the chocolate to a spreadable consistency.
Pour the melted chocolate over the matzo and sprinkle with cranberries and sea salt. Place in the refrigerator to harden.
Once set, break the matzo into pieces to serve. Keep in an airtight container.
