Christmas Broken Glass Jello
Broken glass jell-o never goes out of style. A hit at every party, the best thing about it is you can change the colors up at your whim!
This time I changed it for Christmas and used strawberry and lime jello to create a festive holiday treat. Merry Christmas, Santa brought you jello!
Christmas Broken Glass Jello
Ingredients:
1 box (6 oz) strawberry jello
1 box (6 oz) lime jello
1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
2 envelopes unflavored gelatin
water (see recipe for amounts)
Instructions:
Step 1: Dissolve each box of jello separately, using just two cups of boiling water per flavor. Pour into individual containers (small tupperware works well) and chill overnight.
Step 2: Once solid, cut the flavors of jello into small blocks and mix together carefully in a glass 9×13 pan.
Step 3: In a separate bowl, dissolve 2 envelopes unflavored gelatin in 2 cups hot water. Let cool slightly, then stir in the condensed milk. Once it’s cool to the touch, pour the cooled milk mixture over the jello cubes and chill overnight.
Step 4: Cut into squares and serve.
