Coffee Shave Ice
Slush, granita, call it what you want but it will always be Shave Ice to me. My favorite flavor of anything and everything is coffee.
When I have leftover coffee I freeze it in a silicone ice cube container. I like the silicone because it freezes well and pops out so easily.
Once the coffee is solid I pop out the coffee cubes and crush them in a blender.
Topped with a bit of vanilla ice cream is a beautiful presentation but here’s where the goodness happens, crush up the melty ice cream into the coffee shave ice and you have a seriously good pick me up for a hot afternoon.
What an awesome idea… just my kind of afternoon pick-me-up!
I don’t know what it’s been like in LA lately, but SD’s been feeling the heat. I saved my leftover coffee yesterday and poured it into our ice cube tray.
If this weekend is as hot as last, I’m eating my coffee halo-halo style!
My sister’s gonna love this. What a great idea. thanks Jenn!
Your way of describing all in this article is truly fastidious, every one
can effortlessly understand it, Thanks a lot.
This is the right blog for anyone who wants to understand this topic.
You understand so much its almost hard to argue with you
(not that I really would want to…HaHa).
You certainly put a brand new spin on a topic which has been written about
for ages. Great stuff, just great!
I’m amazed, I must say. Seldom do I come across a blog that’s both equally educative and interesting, and without a doubt, you
have hit the nail on the head. The issue is something which too few folks are speaking intelligently about.
Now i’m very happy I stumbled across this in my hunt for something concerning
this.
That looks very tasty and very imaginative thinking using coffee.
