Cuban Chicken

A nice warm Cuban dinner sounds good after a long day but who has the time? This pantry essentials-filled recipe is easy and tasty and made to fit your hectic schedule.

Just place all the ingredients in a slow cooker and your one pot Cuban dinner is ready to go!

Crock Pot Cuban Chicken

Cuban Chicken

Ingredients:

4 skinless, boneless chicken breasts
1 onion, sliced
1 can (15 oz) black beans
1/2 cup corn
2 teaspoons garlic powder
1 teaspoon cumin
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon pepper

Instructions:

Step 1: Place the chicken in a crock pot and top with sliced onions, black beans, and corn.

Step 2: In a small bowl stir together the garlic powder, cumin, salt, onion powder, and pepper. Sprinkle over the ingredients in the pot.

Step 3: Cook on low for 8 hours. Serve with cooked rice.

  1. I am making this Tonight! I added more Garlic. It may be Overkill, but I am suspicious of Garlic Powder.
