Death cupcakes for Amber Benson
My friend Amber Benson may be known for playing Tara on the iconic tv series Buffy the Vampire Slayer but she is also a talented director, producer and writer. She has written comic books and novels and her latest book from the Calliope Reaper-Jones series is called “How to be Death.”
For the release she had a signing at the Mysterious Galaxy bookstore where fans and friends showed
up to hear her read from the new book. Author readings always put a different spin on the books and give you insights into the writing process.

Death cupcakes for Amber Benson
Ingredients:
frosted cupcakes
candy melts
edible images
white icing
sanding sugar
Instructions:
Melt the candy melts according to directions and pour into lollipop molds. Freeze until set, then pop them out.
Place an edible image on top, then using a #2 tip, outline the pop with white icing and dip into sanding sugar.
Once set, place on frosted cupcakes.
