Disney Character Waffles at the Parks and Resorts
Disney food obsessed? Hi, that’s me. I even have a Disney snacks dress that features some of my favorite Mickey treats.
Waffles are one of my favorite Disney foods because of their specialty waffle makers that you can’t buy anywhere else, believe me I’ve tried. Waffles are a great breakfast option because they’re abundant and you can even get them vegan and gluten-free, which is ideal if you have an allergy in your party.
Mickey waffles are the standard and you can find those both Disneyland and Walt Disney World. You can’t go wrong with a smiling Mickey in the morning, but it’s the rare waffled character that make the breakfast hunt so satisfying.
So far Walt Disney World is the only place where you can get official Star Wars waffles. If I could have a Darth Vader waffle every day of my life I think I’d be satisfied, and at Hollywood Studios Backlot Express you can get them all day long!
Served with chicken tenders, this take on chicken and waffles is the best way to enjoy the dark side life. I wish these were available on the West coast, fingers crossed they’ll show up in the new Star Wars Land.
Over at the Polynesian Resort at WDW you’ll find Experiment 626—Stitch waffles! I was so excited to be greeted by this fun treat at breakfast. The specialty waffle is an exclusive to the resort, and makes it worth the monorail ride over. Head downstairs for a Dole Whip swirl, and your Disney World food trek will be complete.
Cars waffles are a must when visiting Cars Land at Disneyland. You might get a Lightning waffle, Flor or even a happy Mater, any of which will definitely make your morning more magical.
Walt Disney World’s Art of Animation resort is known to sell Lion King, Little Mermaid, Winnie the Pooh, and even Nemo waffles. So many cute waffles, I can’t take it!
