DIY Star Wars Ornaments Using Temporary Tattoos

Making your own Christmas ornaments sounds daunting, really anything during Christmas can seem like an uphill battle, but I have an holiday DIY that’s so easy you’ll be done in mere seconds. These DIY Star Wars ornaments are made using temporary tattoos and are so easy that kids can make them all on their own. No glue, no mess, just water!

I love temporary tattoos because they’re so versatile. You can use them as they were meant to be but I like to use them on my nails and for crafting. Temporary tattoos can be applied to any surface, and that means Christmas ornaments!

My favorite temp tattoos are by Love and Madness because they have awesome Star Wars designs. Also they’re metallic, which makes them shiny and bright and great for holiday decorating.

Supplies:
plain ornaments (from Michaels)
Star Wars temporary tattoos (from www.loveandmadness.com)

Directions:
Step 1: Buy plain ornaments at the craft store, any color will do.
Step 2: Cut out the tattoo design you like, remove the plastic and place face down onto the ornament. The curve can be tricky but try and pick a design that will show up well.
Step 3: Generously wet a paper towel and press onto the tattoo backing. Hold for a few seconds, add more water if necessary. When the tattoo is secure the paper backing should lift off by itself.
Step 4: Lightly pat the design with a dry paper towel to remove excess moisture.
Step 5: Hang on the tree!

This super simple craft opens up a world of crafty gift giving. If you’re like me, in no time you’ll be wanting to tattoo all the things!
