Eating Vegan at Disneyland
Eating vegetarian at Disneyland is fairly easy but finding vegan meals may seem to be a little more difficult. Not at all! Vegan meals are abundant at Disneyland, you just need to know where to look. While most meat items on salads are removable, if you want something that is purely vegan, Disney has made accommodating menu additions that are sure to please.
Let’s start with the most important thing, the snacks. You’d be surprised to know that soft pretzels and popcorn (despite buttery appearances) are vegan, as are the fruit bars sold at the ice cream carts!
One look at my instagram pics and you that by far my personal favorite of all things at Disneyland even more than the rides, is the Dole Whip. It may look creamy but it’s actually vegan and perfectly refreshing on a warm day.
As far as restaurant dining goes, here’s a list of vegan eats at the park with my added notes to some of my favorites. Go forth and have a great vegan day at Disneyland!
Note: Menus are subject to change. Restaurants are very accommodating for dietary restrictions so be sure to ask the chef for a substitute or if you are unsure. If you’re making a reservation you can call ahead for special Disneyland dietary requests.
