Every year I say I’m probably not going to do a pumpkin.

I’ve found that the PERFECT tools for pumpkin carving (especially those time consuming thin lines) are the blade sets you can get for carving relief blocks for block printing.. you can get them at any art store for a reasonable price, and they usually come with a few different sizes included. and they cut like butter.. butter on the surface of the sun. my hand has never felt better after hours of pumpkin carving!
