GrubHub Saves The Day
GrubHub contacted me right before Comic-Con and were kind enough to send me a fun-filled survival kit! The sweatbands were definitely a good addition to any con and I can see the kids playing a fun-filled game of Root-Beer pong with the cups.
I had heard of GrubHub but hadn’t tried it out so this was a first. I set up an account and looked at the choices in my area. I was happy to see full details that included descriptive menus as well as reviews. I think the best part was being able to find new restaurants in my vicinity that I hadn’t even heard of!
When you work from home and cook all day, sometimes the last thing you want to think about is dinner. Since we don’t eat fast food, when I do get take-out I like to know that the food is made fresh and has healthy options with something to please everyone.
One particularly busy day, time had gotten away from me and I knew it was the perfect opportunity to try out GrubHub. I logged on and found a place that would deliver and picked out our meal options.
I particularly that they offer the option of not taking utensils, yes, I do in fact want to save the earth. Another great feature is that you can add tip online so that everything is wrapped up in one transaction, plus you can pay with paypal which makes things even easier!
I adore these little cartoons that lead you through the process. I could only hope that my food would actually be shot through a cannon towards me, though I do wonder why that one cartoon guy is naked on his couch.
After I had made my choices and paid, it said that my order was expected to arrive in 40 minutes. I was pleasantly surprised when it showed up in just 20 minutes! Even better!
The whole GrubHub process was easy to use and now I can’t wait to try out new places to eat. As a thank you for reading, GrubHub has given me 5 coupon codes worth $20 each so that you can try out GrubHub for yourselves!
*full disclosure: GrubHub is providing five $20 coupon codes for five readers who will be selected at random and contacted by email. The opinions and ideas expressed are my own. Giveaway ends August 13, 2014 at 12am PST. Please note this giveaway is only open to residents of the U.S.

I just moved to an area where this is totally a thing! I want to try it out.
This is awesome! I love any kind of takeout really (so noncommittal!)
Pizza!
I love sushi takeout. <3
burgers
I’ve been wanting to try this, would be good on those busy nights I’m craving Thai food.
Just used them last night in Seattle! Lots of options, and my choice was delicious.
I would try this!
Love ordering food on the couch, in my pajamas.
Take out — OMG I Wish we had decent Asian foods here. I could put a serious hurt on some DimSum.
Favorite takeout is pizza. It’s good a couple of hours later, it’s good the next day, and it’s good even if you end up freezing it!
I love Indian take out the best!! Yum!
I actually just used GrubHub for the first time last week. Easy peasy!
I won! How do I collect? Thanks! 🙂
