Han Solo Root Beer Sherbet Carbonite
Poor Han, he’s been through so much on this blog. First Grape Jell-o Carbonite, then chocolate and peanut butter and now this indiginity – being frozen into a delectable root beer frozen dessert.
Oh well! Better luck next time Han, because this is the winner. Sweet Root Beer in ice cream form, molded into everyone’s favorite galactic smuggler. Seal me and deliver me to Jabba, this is how I want to go.
It looks like Vader is berating Boba for forgetting the plates. Poor Bounty Hunter.
Han Solo Root Beer Sherbet Carbonite
Ingredients:
2 (12 oz) bottles of root beer (let them sit a bit and get flat.)
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
Instructions:
In a bowl mix together the root beer, heavy cream and condensed milk.
Place the mold on a small baking sheet to make it more sturdy for transport into the freezer. The silicone is pretty floppy and hard to move once filled. Pour the mixture into the mold and place in the freezer for 6-8 hours until completely firm.
Pull the side of the mold away from the ice cream, then turn the mold over and onto a plate. Slice and serve.
WOW!!! I am going to buy this mold and make this soon! Thank you.
