Happy National Video Games Day!

There’s a day for everything and today is National Video Games Day – not to be confused with the singular National Video Game Day which is in July. Like I said there’s a day for everything.

Video games are so much fun, and celebrating with themed-snacks is a great way to celebrate the day or go all out and have a gaming party. Bake up some Mario cookies or his foe, Donkey Kong cookies. You can even make a Mario-themed gingerbread castle if you’re feeling especially crafty.

Or if you don’t want to invest a lot of time, themed-wraps are a good way to go. Just print them out and secure around your favorite treat! I made Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Muffins since we’re in the start of PSL season. They’re simple to make and easy to grab and go while you’re gaming.
