Honey Grilled Shrimp

Summer weather is all about grilling, even indoors! The Baby LOVES shrimp and this is a quick and easy dinner that’s perfect for the weekends.

ingredients:
1 lb shrimp, washed and deveined
1/3 cup vegetable oil
1 Tablespoon soy sauce
3 Tablespoons honey
2 cloves garlic, minced
salt and pepper

I only buy honey in a bear because it is insanely adorable.

In a small bowl mix together the vegetable oil, soy sauce, honey and garlic.

Pour the marinade into a ziploc bag and add the shrimp. Marinate 4-6 hours.

Take the shrimp out of the bag and discard the marinade. Place on a hot grill and season with salt and pepper. Cook approximately 2-3 minutes each side until the shrimp turns pink. Serve immediately.

    Is it sweet or savory?

  2. madhatter360 says:

Are the garlic cloves supposed to be minced in the marinade or placed in whole?

  3. justJENN says:

@madhatter360 The garlic cloves are minced, thanks!

  4. justJENN says:

@Rachael Hm. They’re slightly sweet because of the honey and the grilling caramelized them a bit.
