Johnny Depp Surprises Guests on Pirates of the Caribbean at Disneyland

I’ve often wondered what would happen if the animatronic pirates mutinied and became sentient on Pirates of the Caribbean at Disneyland. Those aren’t normal thoughts, but some animatronics are just so realistic.

So imagine traveling down the waters in a boat, only to be surprised by a real life Jack Sparrow. That’s what happened this week as Johnny Depp donned his Jack Sparrow attire and surprised guests on the Pirates of the Caribbean.

It's not everyday that you come to Disneyland and see Johnny Depp as Captain Jack Sparrow in the pirates attraction surprising fans and having their reactions recorded lol. ? It was a surprise and yes Johnny Depp really did dress up as Captain Jack Sparrow and was talking to guests. He gave his best Jack Sparrow and guests ate it up. It’s not every day you get to interact with a pirate who’ll answer back! Depp even took the show outside and greeted the adoring fans who had gathered in the queue.

This all coincides with the release of Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales that will hit theaters next month on May 26.
