Keep Track of Soggy Bottoms With The Great British Baking Show Recipe Journal
If you’re like me and obsessed with The Great British Baking Show, you might ponder signature bakes in your dreams. Sweet dreams has a quite literal meaning for me. Now with Netflix showing season 10 concurrently with Britain’s airing, there’s no need for spoiler alerts and it makes following along even more fun.
For me, that means jotting down what I would do if I was in the tent. I can’t help but be swept up in the fun, trying to decide what I would make for Cake Week and what recipe might squeak by in dreaded Bread Week. Now Conquest Journals has released an official Great British Baking Show Recipe Journal for chronicling all of those grand ideas.
The journal has all the whimsy of the show itself from a glossary of British baking terms, to stickers (yay, stickers!), to proudly adorn on your Show Stopping bakes. Also included are 5 show recipes, if you choose to attempt them, they’ll surely make you want for the only thing that matters: a Hollywood handshake.
However the real purpose of the journal is to chronicle your own family recipes, baking achievements, and even baking fails. If you’ve got a soggy bottom, you might as well record it so it never happens again.
These sweet journals would make a perfect gift for the baker in your life. I plan to keep mine close while I watch season 10, just so I can pretend I’m standing in the tent waiting for Sandy and Noel to proclaim, “On your marks, get set…bake!”
