Lemon Sour Cream Pancakes
It’s Lemon-fest week! Come back every day for a new lemon-tastic recipe!
I love breakfast and there’s something fresh and wonderful about adding lemons to your morning routine. Perfect Pancakes are the best breakfast and just a squeeze of fresh lemon can brighten up the recipe and add a special zing to the flavor. Add sour cream and these Lemon Sour Cream Pancakes become especially tender and so tasty they don’t even need syrup!
Lemon Sour Cream Pancakes
Ingredients:
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 Tablespoons sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
Zest of half a lemon
Pinch of salt
1/2 cup sour cream
1-3/4 cups whole milk
1 egg
juice of half a lemon
Instructions:
In a bowl whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, lemon zest and salt.
Add the sour cream, milk, egg and lemon juice to the dry ingredients, until just combined. Do not over mix.

Serve immediately as is or with a sprinkle of powdered sugar.
Lemons, sour cream and pancakes. YUM. 3 of my fav. things. Def. going to try this.
Wow……I want to try this, but I don’t even lemons or sour cream in the house now… ack!
don’t even *HAVE. oops.
Great except when u follow the recipe your left with a big ball of dry dough. Had to more Ethan double the milk and add water.
Is this a prank? Horrible recipe. You end up with a ball of dough, not pancake batter.
