Maple Whipped Cream

Nothing says Fall like maple. I use this on cakes, cupcakes, pancakes…

Maple Whipped Cream

Ingredients:

2 cups heavy whipping cream
3 Tablespoons powdered sugar
2 Tablespoons maple syrup
1/2 teaspoon vanilla

Instructions:

In a chilled bowl of an electric mixer, whip the cream on medium high.

Once peaks start to form add the powdered sugar, syrup and the vanilla. Turn the mixer onto high until you get whipped peaks.

Note: Be careful not to over do it or your will get a bowlful of butter.

    do u have to serve this immediately? Or can I “ice” the cake and then refrigertae for a fe ours before serving?

    If you’re not going to serve it immediately, yes – keep it in the fridge til you’re ready!

    I made this last night, and when my sister, her friend, and I tried it, we did a simultaneous “Mmmmm!” So good. I’m glad we made a double batch, because it’s just as good plain as on cupcakes!
