National Chocolate Chip Day Star Wars Wookiee Cookies

Who doesn’t love a good holiday, especially when it revolves around food. National Chocolate Chip Day is holiday to be celebrated, because there’s no more versatile or happy-inducing ingredient around. I add chocolate chips to everything from donuts to waffles, they just make everything better.

I always have chocolate chip cookies on hand because I like to pre-make dough into balls and freeze it so that I can pop them into the oven whenever necessary. My kids think I spent all day making them chocolate chip cookies for their afterschool snack when really I just wanted to eat fresh cookies for breakfast. What can I say.

With a few added details these cookies are transformed into an homage to Chewbacca, creating the ultimate Wookiee Cookie. Adding extra chocolate and sprinkles to anything doesn’t hurt.

Enjoy these Star Wars Wookiee Cookies with some Blue Milk and go out there and make the most of National Chocolate Chip Day!
