Nutella Chocolate Chip cookies
A chocolate chip cookie, with the best addition ever – a swirl of Nutella. The ultimate cookie.
Nutella Chocolate Chip cookies
Ingredients:
2-1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup butter (1-1/2 stick)
3/4 cup white sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
1-1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 cup Nutella
1-1/2 cups chocolate chips
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees and prep baking sheets with silpats.
In a large bowl whisk together the flour, baking soda and salt.
In the bowl of an electric mixer, cream the butter, the sugar and the brown sugar. Add the eggs and the vanilla until combined.
Gradually add the flour until the mixture is combined.
Then mix in the chocolate chips and the Nutella – I don’t like to fully combine it, ’cause traces of Nutella is always is a good thing.
Drop by Tablespoons onto the prepped baking sheets and bake for 8-10 minutes. Let cool on wire racks.

sounds good! do you think walnuts would be a good addition to this recipe, or would it take away from the nutella flavor? i’m new to baking, but love to try new things 🙂

I tried this recipe and they are AMAZING!
That is the best use of Nutella I’ve ever seen. Generally it’s used on crepes (meh) and you always stare at it when reaching for the peanut butter. I can’t wait to make good use of the nutella and try out this recipe!

My problem with putting Nutella in cookies is you don’t always taste it. I think it does help with the texture, though. Have you ever made cookies with hazelnut butter? Now that you can taste, but it’s difficult to find and I usually have to make my own.
More importantly, can you tell me where you got the Alice in Wonderland plate? Fuzz is obsessed with Alice in Wonderland right now.
made these last night… so good! hit with the co workers. nutella taste is sort of subtle, then will hit you all of a sudden in a bite and it is delicious! i think i blended mine in a bit more than i would do next time.
are your kids allergic to nutella? my friend who cant eat nuts cant touch the stuff. very tragic for him!
I tried to make these cookies on the weekend but I think I put too much butter in cause the first batch I tried all melted into a sad cookie mass…so instead I just ate the other half of the delicious dough raw….but don’t tell anyone that. Shhh

This is an AWESOME recipe! I baked two batches and took all of them to a 4th of July party, where just about all but a dozen cookies were gone! They were a major hit. The consistency of the dough was perfect and were soft and chewy. I took your advice and didn’t fully mix the nutella into the dough and it made a big difference. It made the cookie more like a marble cookie. I will definitely make this recipe again.

I’ve had my Chocolate Touch since it came out. I utilised to have a Razr. I’ve been searching around at the filesystem on Bitpim and just commenced putting flash wallpapers on it. I’ve also checked to see how EnV Touch themes look on it. I’d like to start trying to make themes and wallpapers in Adobe Flash CS4. But I just started, so it’ll probably be awhile before I get anything. Tongue
I just tried these this morning. They’re really good, except I think they need more flour. I even used baking powder instead of baking soda and they were still a little runny, but overall they’re really good!

just did your version with my daughter earlier today. we loved it! the first batch came out nicely with a crackled top. the other ones i left in a tiny bit longer so they were crisper, which i like. this was my test run and i think i have a new crowd favorite! this recipe is a keeper! thanks so much!
