2 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
6 Tablespoons cold butter, cut into cubes
4-6 tablespoons ice water, as needed
Instructions:
By food processor:
Pulse the flour, sugar and salt. Add in the butter and pulse until crumbly. Add the water into the tube while the processor is running, pulsing until combined.
By hand:
In a large bowl whisk together the flour, sugar, and salt. Use a pastry cutter to cut in the butter until mealy. Add the water one tablespoon at a time, mixing until the dough just comes together.
Use immediately or wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate or freeze for later.
