Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies
I love chocolate chip cookies. I love peanut butter cookies. So when you bring two of the world’s greatest cookies together it is inevitable that you’ll form something absolutely heavenly!
ingredients:
1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, softened
3/4 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 egg
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
10 ounces semi sweet chocolate chips
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Prep a baking sheet with silpats or parchment.
In the bowl of an electric mixer cream the butter, peanut butter, and sugars together until light and fluffy.
In a bowl, whisk the flour and baking soda together, then slowly add to the butter mixture, beating just to combine. Fold in chocolate chips.
Drop the dough by tablespoonfuls onto the pan. Bake for 15-18 minutes depending on your oven. Let cool on a wire rack.
So did you eat the finished cookies before you could take a picture? ;).
I’ll have to try those. I’ll bet they were great with the PB&Co “Crunch Time”. As I recall, that peanut butter was not very sweet which means it probably adds more pb flavor and less sugar to the cookies. Yum.
