Peanut Butter Heart Brownies
Brownies in the shape of a heart make them even better. Add in a healthy amount of peanut butter and you may win a fan for life.
These cute brownies are shapely for gift giving and just think, you can eat all the excess cutaways by yourself. It’s the treat that keeps on giving.
Peanut Butter Heart Brownies
Ingredients:

vanilla ice cream
chocolate layer ingredients:
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter
4 ounces chocolate
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
peanut butter layer ingredients:
1/2 cup smooth peanut butter
1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 egg
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Prep an 8×8 inch baking pan with buttered parchment, place on a baking sheet.
In a medium saucepan over low heat, combine the butter, chocolate, and vanilla, stirring until smooth. Remove from the heat and add the brown sugar, stirring until combined.
Crack the eggs in a small bowl and temper using some of the chocolate mixture. Add the tempered eggs back into the main chocolate mixture.
Pour the flour into a bowl and fold in the chocolate mixture. Pour into the prepped pan.
In another medium saucepan over low heat, stir the peanut butter, butter, and brown sugar, stirring until smooth. Remove from heat and again temper an egg, then fold in the flour.
Pour the peanut butter mixture on top of the brownie batter.
Bake for 40 minutes, let cool completely.
Once cooled, use a heart shape cutter to cut out hearts. Use a smaller heart cutter to cut out the center.
Place the brownie on a plate and fill with softened vanilla ice cream, to serve.
