Salt and Pepper Chicken Drumsticks
A quick dinner can be better than finding hidden treasure. With only 2 main ingredients and some salt and pepper, this is the simplest of recipes.
Made for a mighty Pirates dinner, I cooked these up in no time and screened a movie for the kids. Arrgh, you’ll be surprised at how delicious just salt and pepper can be.

Salt and Pepper Chicken Drumsticks
Ingredients:
6-8 chicken drumsticks
6 Tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
salt
pepper
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Line a baking sheet with foil and place a wire rack on top. Lightly grease the wire rack with a little bit of oil.
Wash and pat dry the chicken, then place the drumsticks on top of the wire rack.
Brush the melted butter on top of the drumsticks, then season liberally with salt and pepper.
Bake for 50 minutes to one hour, depending on your oven, until juice run clear.
I made this tonight, and added soy sauce to the melted butter, and basted the chicken with that before adding the salt and pepper. A whole new dimension of deliciousness!
