Savory Thanksgiving Quiche
ingredients:
pie dough
4 slices bacon, cooked and chopped
1 cup turkey, cooked and diced
1/2 cup stuffing
6 ounces Cheddar Cheese, shredded
6 eggs
1/2 cup half-and-half
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
salt and pepper
extra cheese
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Place a pie plate onto a baking sheet. This will make it easier to transfer to the oven and catch any spills. Lay down the prepared pie dough into the bottom of a pie plate.
Place the bacon, turkey, stuffing and cheese onto the pressed pie dough.
In a bowl whisk together the eggs, half and half, garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper. Pour over the ingredients in the pie plate.
Bake for 45 minutes until the top is browned and the quiche is cooked through. Let cool slightly, slice and serve.
