Star Wars Halloween Decorating
There are so many fun ways to incorporate Star Wars into Halloween besides just wearing a costume—through you can never go wrong with a good Leia hairdo. While you can carve elaborate pumpkins, or bake homemade treats, maybe you’re not creatively inclined. Don’t fret, there are other ways to take your Halloween into a galaxy far, far, away.
Start with choosing a color palette. The dark side is great for black and gray tones. I use Vader as my centerpiece for literally everything, so even during the holidays he fits right in with my decor. If you’re more prone to the lighter side of the galaxy, Rebel flight suit orange is a good choice that is obviously the color of the season.
From there, add in the Star Wars. Craft your own banners and Day of the Dead themed droids or buy a pre-made Star Wars Halloween Decorating Kit to make life easier.
Foam pumpkins are on theme and easily affordable and reusable for next year. But if you absolutely must have a real pumpkin, mini pumpkins are available in the grocery section and are fun to have around the house. Keep in mind, the mini ones will probably cost you as much as a full size pumpkin. Still, smaller is cuter.
Votive holders are usually plentiful from the dollar section but you don’t even have to use them for candles. Fill them with candies and cookies and you’ve got a spoopy Halloween set up for the rest of October!
