Strawberry Milk Tea Bundt Cake
My friend The Food Librarian loves bundt cakes and I can see why. They are simple to make, no fussing with frosting (usually) and you always get an ooh and ahh from a crowd!
I saw this can of Strawberry Milk Tea at the market and for some reason I just knew it’d be the right ingredient for a bundt cake. I admit, I added a bit of pink food coloring to get just the right shade of pink, but the pinkness only adds to the deliciousness! Eat with your eyes! Not literally, get a fork.
ingredients:
2-1/2 cups all purpose flour
1-1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup (1-1/2 sticks) butter
2 cups sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup Strawberry Milk Tea
pink gel food coloring
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Prep a bundt pan by greasing it with butter.
In a bowl whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Set aside.
In the bowl of an electric mixer cream the butter and sugar. Add the eggs and vanilla.
Alternate the flour mixture with the Strawberry Milk Tea and two drops of pink food coloring and mix until combined.
Pour the batter into the prepped bundt pan.
Bake for 50-55 minutes depending on your oven, testing with a skewer for doneness. Let cool for at least 30 minutes, then invert onto a wire rack to cool completely.
Slice and serve.
Delicious!
Good inspiration!
I’ll give it a go with strawberry soy milk.
