Supernatural Anti-Possession Cookies
September 13 is the official (yes, official!) Supernatural Day! A day when the network, the show, the cast and of course, the fans, all get involved by showing their love for the CW show that’s now entering it’s 12th season.
I’ll be posting a lot of Supernatural stuff @justjennrecipes instagram and check out my full Supernatural Winchester Tea Party complete with recipes, over on Nerdist.com.
Now that you’re here, I have a special recipe just for Winchester fans, it’s the boys’ anti-possession tattoos made into cookies! These cool Supernatural cookie cutters are from Sweet Prints Inc and I used them to make brown sugar cinnamon cookies that will kill hunger and keep you safe at the same time.
How will you be celebrating Sam and Dean Winchester? Enjoy Supernatural Day!

Supernatural Anti-Possession Cookies
Ingredients:
3 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
pinch of salt
1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup white sugar
1 egg
1-1/2 teaspoons vanilla
Instructions:
In a medium bowl whisk together the flour, cinnamon, baking powder and salt. Set aside.
In the bowl of an electric mixer cream the butter, brown sugar and white sugar, until combined.
Add the egg and vanilla, then slowly add in the dry ingredients until the dough comes together. The dough will form quickly, and when it starts to pull away from the bowl, it’s ready.
Split the dough into two and wrap in plastic wrap. Chill until you are ready to use.
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Prep baking sheets with silpats or parchments.
Roll out the dough to about 1/4 inch thick. Flour the cookie cutter well, then use your cutter to cut out the shapes and transfer onto the prepped baking sheets.
Bake for 10 minutes, let cool on a wire rack.
