Taco Ribs
We love Mexican food around here and I’m always trying to find different ways to incorporate the flavors into our meals. These ribs have all the flavor of tacos, are succulent, fall off the bone and the crock pot makes for an easy prep meal.
ingredients:
2-3 pounds pork spare ribs
1 Tablespoon chili powder
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon cumin
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
Freshly ground pepper
juice of half a lime
juice of one orange
In a small bowl mix together the chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, salt and pepper.
Place the ribs in the crock pot and sprinkle the seasoning on top, rubbing it into the meat. Squeeze the half lime and the orange on top.
Cover and cook for 6-8 hours on low.
Just like that – you’re ready to serve!
Had this for dinner last night. I’m not a huge pork ribs fan but I should have doubled the recipe so I could have had leftovers.
Made these for dinner tonight. Delicious! Definitely making these again.
