Teriyaki Sauce
The sweet and savory of teriyaki sauce is alluring and somehow makes everything taste better. You don’t have to go to a restaurant to get that mouth-watering goodness, because homemade teriyaki sauce is easier than you think. It’s quick and easy and you can use to TERI-anything. Use it to cook or as a topping for already cooked meats. Quick and easy!
Teriyaki Sauce
Ingredients:
1/3 cup soy sauce
1/3 cup mirin
3 tablespoons sugar
1 tablespoon cornstarch
2 tablespoons water
Instructions:
In a small bowl combine the cornstarch and water to form a slurry. Set aside.
In a small saucepan stir the soy sauce, mirin and sugar. Bring to a boil and then pour in the cornstarch mixture.
Bring to a boil again until the sauce thickens.
This is great – I never thought to do this before but now, I will be making this soon! I like how the recipe is so easy and not full of artificial ingredients.
