The Dark Side…of Egg Salad
That’s no moon, it’s a boiled egg!! Even a Dark Lord needs to eat lunch and egg salad is the obvious choice, in fact I’m positive it’s the official sandwich of the Galactic Empire. This Star Wars egg salad is particularly evil because it gets it’s kick from a hefty dose of hot sauce. A pain so delicious it hurts. I like to use King’s Hawaiian bread because the sweetness cuts the heat of the hot sauce and it adds a nice toasty crunch to the soft egg salad.
If you’re going to eat this, make sure you use an napkin. Even Siths have manners.
The Dark Side…of Egg Salad
Ingredients:
9 boiled eggs
3 Tablespoons mayonnaise
2 teaspoons yellow mustard
2 Tablespoons pickle relish
1/4 cup diced celery
1 Tablespoon hot sauce
salt
pepper
King’s Hawaiian sweet bread (or any soft bread)
Instructions:
Shell and rinse the boiled eggs, then rough chop them and place into a medium bowl along with the mayo, mustard, relish and celery. Toss to combine.
Fold in the hot sauce being careful to not break up the eggs. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Use a Star Wars cookie cutter to cut Vader heads out of the soft bread, then toast. Once toasted, the image with become clearer.
Spread the egg salad on one of the toasted Vader heads, then place another one on top to make the sandwich. Serve immediately to hungry Imperial Troops.

That is probably one of the coolest ways to make an egg salad sandwich EVER. I love Star Wars and this would be great just to eat myself or during a Star Wars marathon. I really like the touch of Tapatio, definitely have to try that next time too.

I bought a bottle of that a few months ago and loved it, but it was so spicy. I think the skin on my tongue is too sensitive. Or maybe the eggs just round it out. I think I put it on something weird like a baked potato.

I recently saw a toaster that will leave the Darth Vader head toasted on your bread. These are way cooler. I would even eat egg salad
