The Force Is Strong With These Star Wars Chewbacca-Inspired Recipes

From the very beginning, Chewbacca has always been my muse. Over the years creating food for Lucasfilm, I’ve learned which characters really hit home, and Chewie has always been a fan favorite. It’s easy to see why—who wouldn’t want a BFF co-pilot, constant companion, who’d rip the arms off your enemies in a split second? It’s the ideal friendship and you could tell that a hug from a “walking carpet” really meant something.

Chewbacca was always larger than life, just like the actor who played him. I’ve made so many Chewbacca-themed Star Wars recipes over the years, and now that Peter Mayhew has passed, I will continue to do so proudly, always remembering the joy he brought to millions of fans over the years.

Rest in peace, Peter Mayhew.
