Watch Golden Monkeys Play In The Snow In Disneynature’s Born in China
Disneynature movies are some of kid’s favorites because of the fun and interactive storylines that take you on enjoyable adventures and emotional journeys. The films have a unique way of giving an up close and personal look into the lives of animals, without disturbing their natural way of life.
Disneynature’s newest release, Born in China is no exception. This movie gives us a peek inside the China most people don’t get to see, and the beautiful visuals make you feel like you’re right there walking among the wildlife.
Narrated by John Krasinski, Born In China takes an epic journey into the wilds of China and follows the stories of three animal families: A panda bear mother and her new baby, a mother snow leopard and her cubs, and my favorite, a lonely little golden snub-nose monkey.
Golden snub-nosed monkeys are an endangered species and listed under the Chinese Wildlife Protection Law and scientists estimate that there are only between 8,000-10,000 of them remaining. The monkeys live in large family groups, high up in the forests of China at elevations of 4,593 to 9,186 feet where it six months out of the year. This entertaining clip from the movie give us a rare peek at the golden monkeys frolicking in the China snow.
Disneynature’s Born in China open in theaters on Earth Day, April 21, 2017.
