Winnie The Pooh Cookies
Happy Winnie the Pooh day! Today is A.A. Milne’s birthday, the author who brought to life that silly old honey-loving bear. His stories were inspired by his son—Christopher Robin—and his adventures in the Hundred Acre Wood.
These days Winnie the Pooh is still a beloved character thanks to Disney and the many bear-loving fans throughout the world. These small honey-flavored cookies are for celebrating the sweetest bear, even on the most blustery of days.

Winnie The Pooh Cookies
Ingredients:
you’ll need:
Winnie the Pooh cookie cutter press
black icing
small pink heart sprinkles
3 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
pinch of salt
1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter
3/4 cup brown sugar
2 Tablespoons honey
1 egg
2 teaspoons vanilla
Instructions:
In a bowl whisk together the flour, baking powder and salt. Set aside.
In the bowl of an electric mixer cream the butter and the sugar. Add the egg and vanilla.
Add the flour mixture until combined. When it pulls away from the sides of the bowl, the dough is ready.
Wrap up the dough in plastic wrap. Refrigerate until you are ready to use.
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Prep baking sheets with silpats.
Roll out the dough to 1/4″ and use the Winnie the Pooh cookie cutter to cut out shapes, then the press for the face details.
Place the cookies on the prepped cookie sheets.
Bake for 10 minutes, let cool on a wire rack.
Using a #2 tip and black icing, pipe the eyes and nose.
Place a small heart sprinkle upside down for the tongue.
When the icing is dry the cookies are ready to serve.
