Yoda Matcha Panna Cotta

If you follow my instagram you know I’ve been watching the Great British Bake Off (Great British Baking Show) on Netflix every week and baking right along with the bakers per the week’s theme. I keep track of my recipes in my Conquest Journals GBBO journal and it’s fun to think up new things to make every week. However, this season the themes are little weird, and it’s been hard to tell what kind of bakes the judges are looking for.

One thing’s for sure, Paul Hollywood hates matcha. I’ve been watching this show since season 1 and it’s always been that way. While we all have our likes, it seems unfair for him to harshly judge the bakers who actually like to cook with it. The benefits of matcha are great, and it’s the best way to get a naturally green color with no food dye.

This week’s theme was Dessert Week so I went all in on matcha. I made beautiful matcha panna cotta, topped off with whipped cream and to add my signature Star Wars detail, I placed Yoda cookies on top?—which were also made with matcha. It’s a match extravaganza, one in which I’m sure Paul would not offer me a handshake. Oh well Paul, more for the rest of us!
