Yoda Soda
Made for the Ultimate Star Wars party (here)
Whatever Yoda ATE, I’m sure he drank this with it.
ingredients:
3/4 cup limeade
1/2 cup sparkling water
1 scoop lime sherbet
Fill a cup with the limeade and sparkling water. Stir to combine and add a scoop of lime sherbet.
Yoda drank this every day and that’s why he lived for 800 years. True story.
Ok. Wow. You are a superhero. Super Mom. Hi. Found your blog because Modcloth.com featured your Star Wars party in their blog. I’m 27 and find myself wishing I could effectively file all of your amazing ideas away for when I have my own kids. I’m not even in a relationship yet and I’m already looking forward to pre-school!
Please tell me how I can subscribe to your blog! I can never figure this stuff out!
This recipe is really good! My mom made it for me and I loved the lime flavor.
Hi! I’m Abby Cameron of Nebraska. I am 11 years old and love what you did with these treats!
Every year, my family takes a trip to California. My brother (5 years) has a friend who loves Starwars as much as he does, and she (5 years), also has a big crush on him.
Last year she made him cupcakes. We wanted to show our appreciation by making her some sweet Starwars treats. We really like the idea of the
cookie-cupcakes (The Darthvadar/Yoda ones). We like them because we already have the cookie cutters, and the colors really stand out.
That reminds me, what food coloring do you use to get the colors so vibrant?
Well I got to go!
Abby C.
@Abby
The Yoda cookies do not use food coloring, it’s all matcha which is a concentrated green tea powder: https://justjennrecipes.com/yoda-oreos/2010/10/04/
O.K. Thank you! A lot! These treats will be perfect for my brother. I know I’m only 11, but I’m great in the kitchen.
Wow! I am such a Starwars geek!
Hi Jenn! I was wondering if you have a facebook page. Thanks!
